Simon Pegg en Nick Frost in Spielbergs Tintin

Simon Pegg en Nick Frost gaan het komische duo Jansen en Janssen voor hun rekening nemen in de motion-capture animatiefilm Tintin (Kuifje) van Steven Spielberg.

Pegg en Frost zag je al eerder samen in Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Andy Serkis (Gollum) zal de rol van Kapitein Haddock gaan spelen. Oorspronkelijk zou Thomas Brodie Sangster (Love Actually, Nanny McPhee) in de huid van Kuifje kruipen, maar door uitstel van de film moest hij afhaken. Een nieuwe Kuifje is nog niet gevonden. De film staat voor 2010 in de planning en het verhaal zal zich baseren op de eerste twee Kuifje albums.
