Ben Kingsley in Anton Corbijn's Life

Ben Kingsley is, net als actrice Alessandra Mastronardi, toegevoegd aan de cast van Anton Corbijn's nieuwste film Life.  

Life gaat over de onverwachte vriendschap tussen Life-fotgraaf Dennis Stock en acteur James Dean. Stock wordt gespeeld door Robert Pattinson, terwijl Dane DeHaan in de huid van acteur Dean kruipt. Welke rollen Kingsley en Mastronardi (die voornamelijk bekend is vanwege een rol in Woody Allen's To Rome With Love) gaan spelen is nog niet bekend. 

Het script voor Life is geschreven door de Australier Luke Davies. Wanneer de film uitkomt is nog niet bekend. Corbijn is momenteel bezig met opnames in Toronto. Enkele weken geleden ging Corbijn's nieuwste film, A Most Wanted Man, nog in premiere op het Sundance Film Festival. Het werd met veel lof ontvangen, maar heeft inmiddels een zwart randje gekregen. Het is immers de laatste film met een hoofdrol voor Philip Seymour Hoffman.
