Andy Serkis heeft in een interview bevestigd dat hij een rol heeft in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Serkis (Lord of The Rings) is al werkzaam als adviseur bij de film middels zijn motion-capture bedrijf The Imaginarium, maar Serkis geeft aan dat hij ook zijn opwachting maakt in de film, aldus Variety. Op de vraag of zijn gezicht te zien zal zijn in de film:  "I'm not at liberty to mention. But it's all the same to me. I've never drawn a distinction when playing a role, whether it be live action or performance capture.”
