Fred Daly (Colm Meaney) is op het eerste gezicht een gewone man van middelbare leeftijd. Fred woont echter noodgedwongen in zijn auto. Geparkeerd aan de woeste Ierse kust, leidt hij een tamelijk troosteloos bestaan. Totdat de jonge, jointjes rokende Cathal (Colin Morgan) met zijn knalgele auto Freds nieuwe buurman wordt.
