Aaron Paul hoofdrol in HBO-serie

Aaron PaulBreaking Bad-acteur Aaron Paul krijgt de hoofdrol in The Missionary.

De 31-jarige Aaron Paul, die in 2010 een Emmy won voor zijn rol als Jesse Pinkman in de succesvolle tv-reeks Breaking Bad, mag binnenkort op HBO in de huid kruipen van een spion. The Missionary is een nieuwe serie van scenarist Charles Randolph en producenten Stephen Levinson en Mark Wahlberg.

The Missionary speelt zich af in het Berlijn van de jaren 1960 en volgt een Amerikaanse missionaris die door de CIA ingeschakeld wordt. Volgend jaar komt FX ook uit met The Americans, een spionageserie die zich eveneens tijdens de Koude Oorlog afspeelt.

Binnenkort is Aaron Paul ook te zien in het laatste seizoen van Breaking Bad. The Missionary wordt op zijn vroegst vanaf 2013 uitgezonden.
