Lucy Lawless rol in nieuwe tv-serie Spartacus

Lucy Lawless rol in nieuwe tv-serie Spartacus

Lucy Lawless, vooral bekend van de tv-serie Xena: Warrior Princess, zal een rol in de nieuwe tv-serie Spartacus gaan spelen.

Lucy Lawless is naast haar rol in Xena ook te zien in de remake van Battlestar Galactica waarin zij de cyclon D'Anne speelt. Spartacus zal worden geproduceerd door Sam Raimi en Rob Tapert, die eerder verantwoordelijk waren voor de Xena- en Hercules series. Lawless zal de rol van eigenaresse van een kamp met gladiatoren spelen. De hoofdrol in de serie is weggelegd voor Andy Whitfield.

Spartacus zal in april in productie gaan en moet in januari 2010 op tv te zien zijn.
